Working with us

How can you help us?

Here at Teenage Helpline, we rely on a wide range of individuals who support us. There are many different ways to get involved, including full-time paid opportunities, casual volunteering and more structured volunteering.
All of the people who support Teenage Helpline play a vital role in providing high quality services to young people.
Many of those who work for us are young people, and we do our part to give something back to them. We are continuously looking to provide all of our volunteers, regardless of background, with opportunities to push and develop themselves beyond their work with Teenage Helpline.
If you are interested in working with us, contact our recruitment team at [email protected] to find out more about opportunities that are available.

Why is working with us so great?

At Teenage Helpline, we are a tight-knit community of people who are passionate about make a difference to the lives of young people across the UK. With that in common, there is a real sense of community and we encourage this through our working practices.
All of our volunteers and employees are remote workers. This adds to the challenges of what we already do but we have great systems in place to allow for our employees and volunteers to get to know each other, work effectively together and stay in touch.
Every day is different, and we can’t say that all of them will be easy. But the sense of achievement that our employees and volunteers feel every day because of their contributions to what we do is enormous.
We are a flexible organisation that values the contributions of everyone. We will never ask more from our volunteers and employees than they are able to give, but we are sure to celebrate and recognise their efforts.
